More U turns than an indecisive driver

It’s been an eventful eleven months of Conservative government. It always is eventful with the Conservatives in power.

I have been shocked by the sheer number of attempts by the Conservatives to break their manifesto. It’s almost like they’re trying so hard to commit electoral suicide but each time their populist survival instinct pulls them back from the brink.

From manifesto promises not to cut working tax credits through to pledging not to cut disability benefits, the Conservative Party’s attempt to break these pledges caused such an uproar the Conservatives suddenly found an extra pot of money down the sofa they could use instead!

It’s ludicrous how the Conservatives expect to get at with the many u turns they have made. Question is: will they get away with it?

Actually, perhaps the question is:

will you let them get away with it?

Well said Jack..doesn’t matter what the public vote or say, the concervatives always twist things to suit their own agenda…not the publics!..this can be seen with everything that they do or say! They would prefer people to just close their eyes & ignore what they do….which a majority of individuals do…this is the way the tories like it!….
